Practical learning

Workshops that teach your team to read the data you're already collecting

Half-day and full-day sessions designed for small business teams. No prior data experience needed. Everything is built around your actual records.

Why workshops, not just reports?

Imagine a manager who receives a detailed audit report, reads it once, and then files it away because they're not sure how to act on it. The findings were accurate. The recommendations were sound. But nothing changed.

Reports tell you what's possible. Workshops show you how. Our sessions are designed to build the habit of asking data questions into your team's regular working life, using the tools you already have and the records you already keep.

We run workshops as standalone sessions or as a follow-through to a full audit. Either way, the content is built around your business specifically, not a generic curriculum.

Team-based learning

Workshops work best with groups of two to eight people. Larger teams can be accommodated with adjusted formats.

Half-day or full-day

Choose the depth that suits your team's availability. Both formats cover practical skills, not just theory.

What we offer

Three workshop formats to suit different needs

Half day

Data Orientation

Your team arrives not knowing quite what to expect and leaves with a clear map of what data your business currently holds, where it lives, and what basic questions it can answer. Structured as a guided inventory exercise, this session is often the first time a team has looked at all their data sources in one room together.

  • Identify all current data sources
  • Understand what each source can and can't tell you
  • Leave with a written data map
  • Suitable for teams with no prior data experience

Ongoing

Quarterly Review

For teams who've completed a full audit and want to maintain the habit of using data in their decision-making. A structured quarterly session where we review what's changed in your data landscape, check whether the signals identified in the audit are still relevant, and update your decision roadmap accordingly.

  • Review changes since the last session
  • Update signal mapping as the business evolves
  • Identify new data sources that have emerged
  • Adjust decision roadmap priorities

On the day

What to bring, what to expect, and what happens after

Before the session

We send a short preparation guide asking you to gather access to your main data sources. No preparation beyond that is needed. We handle the structure on the day.

During the session

Practical exercises, discussion, and real work on your actual data. Not slides and lectures. We move at the pace of the group and adjust as we go.

After the session

Every participant leaves with a written summary of what was covered and what was agreed. No relying on memory. The documents are yours to keep and share.
